2. Your first shower is only a rinse. No soap

4. Moisturize with a light lotion
5. Do not exfoliate for at least a week

Here is the best way to maintain your tan:

1. Use a mild soap only when needed
2. Use a fresh razor when shaving
3. Pat dry after shower
4. Drink lots of water to keep skin hydrated.
